Unless otherwise expressly defined in this Privacy Policy, words and expressions defined in the User Terms and Conditions, of which this Privacy Policy form part, as updated from time to time and is shown at [URL], have the same meanings when used in this Privacy Policy.



PURPOSE OF COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA:


You need not provide any personal data in order to access to, visit or browse our website (the “Website”) and/or download or use our mobile app (the “Mobile App”). When participate in, access, browse, sign up or use any of our services, activities or online content on, in or through the Website and/or the Mobile App, including without limitation products and services of third party sellers (“Sellers”) and our suppliers, service providers and business partners (collectively referred to as the "Services"), personal data is collected from you to enable us, the Sellers or our suppliers, service providers or business partners to provide you with the Services to provide you with the Services. Any questions, comments, suggestions or information other than personal data sent or posted to our website, or any part of the site by you will be considered as voluntarily provided to the Company on a non-confidential and non-proprietary basis. We reserve the right to use, reproduce, disclose, transmit, publish and/or post elsewhere such information freely, including passing it to any associated company for example, in connection with the development and marketing of services and to meet user needs.

We may share non-personal data such as anonymised data and aggregated data relating to without limitation sales transactions, user traffic, logistics and warehouse performance publicly and with our partners including without limitation with existing and potential business partners and sellers or suppliers of the goods/services.

Whilst we shall use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain confidentiality of your personal information and data so provided to us, we do not warrant (and accept no responsibility for) confidentiality of any information or data whether personal or otherwise transmitted through the Website and/or the Mobile App.

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and must not disclose it to any third party. If your mobile number is used for account login and this number is changed or returned to your mobile operator, you shall shall be responsible for updating this with us, by changing the appropriate field to the “[your account]” section of the Website or the Mobile App.

This is important to ensure that your account information will not be accessed by a third party who may have acquired the right to use your previous mobile number. You are solely responsible for securing your account in this particular way, and we shall have no liability to you for any loss or damage in this regard.


RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA:


Unless there is a mandatory legal requirement for us to keep your personal data for a specified period, we will only retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purpose for which your personal data was originally collected.

In your dealings with us, we retain records of your online transactions for auditing purposes. Our general policy is to retain the information for a reasonable period, and in accordance with the requirements under the PDPO. We do not offer online facilities for you to delete personal data held by us.



DIRECT MARKETING:


Subject to your explicit consent, from time to time, the Company may use your personal data to send you news, offers, promotions and joint marketing offers and the Company requires your consent for that purpose. We may contact you by email, social media, SMS, text/picture/video message, telephone or mail. Your name, email address, telephone number, contact address, social media contact, date of birth, products and services portfolio information, transaction patterns and behaviors, browsing records, content viewing habits and personal interests held by the Company may be used by the Company in direct marketing of the Services. You may request for us to cease to use your data for the purposes of direct marketing by communicating such request to us, most conveniently through the “unsubscribe” function that may be found within our direct marketing communications.

By clicking on third party links on the Website and/or the Mobile App, you acknowledge and agree that Vino Buzz is not associated with, responsible for, or endorses any content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. All external websites operated by third parties are the sole responsibilities of their web operators and therefore beyond our control and responsibility. We cannot guarantee the appropriateness, reliability, timeliness, effectiveness, correctness, and completeness of external websites.




DATA ACCESS AND CORRECTION:


You have the right to access, verify or update any of your personal data that we hold. An access request form can be downloaded from the website of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Hong Kong.


You may also request for us to correct the personal data that you have accessed if such data is inaccurate. We will handle your request as soon as possible.

Please note that under PDPO, we have the right to charge a reasonable fee for complying with a data access request. Data access and correction requests can be addressed to us (see "How can you contact us" section below).
