The 2024 growing season was characterized by a warm, dry summer, which accelerated ripening and concentrated grape sugars, yielding a wine of rich texture and excellent value. The vineyards thrive in a terroir dominated by clay and calcareous soils, where intense daytime heat is tempered by cooling maritime breezes from the nearby Adriatic and Ionian seas, preserving essential freshness in the grapes.

This deep purple wine opens with intense aromas of ripe black cherries, wild plums, and sweet spices like cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, it is medium-to-full-bodied and remarkably smooth, showcasing velvety tannins and a balanced acidity that leads to a lingering, fruit-driven finish. It pairs beautifully with roasted lamb shanks, grilled eggplant parmigiana, or Peking duck.
