The palate is medium to full-bodied, with silky yet firm, medium-high tannins and vibrant, medium-high acidity, carrying a precise, linear core of red fruit, gentle clove, vanilla, light toast, forest herbs and a distinctive earthy, mineral edge. The finish is long, savoury and complex, indicating excellent potential for graceful evolution, with the promise of developing notes of dried flowers, truffle, sous-bois and tobacco leaf.
