Domaine Thibert Père et Fils Pouilly-Fuissé "Vignes Blanches" 2013 in magnum hails from the limestone-rich terroirs of Pouilly-Fuissé in the southern Mâconnais, a classic setting for pure, expressive Chardonnay that marries breadth with a vivid mineral line. The 2013 vintage in Burgundy was generally cool and challenging, with a late-growing season and modest yields; in the Mâconnais it produced wines with lively acidity, moderate alcohol and a more finely etched fruit profile, often delivering very good 性價比 for the quality.

In the glass, this cuvée opens with aromas of ripe lemon, yellow apple, white peach and pear, layered with white flowers, a touch of vanilla, hazelnut and subtle brioche from careful lees aging and judicious oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied yet poised, combining a creamy texture with medium-high acidity, a saline mineral streak and a long, gently toasty finish that gains hints of honey and dried apple as it develops in bottle.
