The 2010 growing season in Burgundy is widely acclaimed, marked by a cool summer followed by a sunny, dry September that allowed for steady ripening and produced wines of purity, freshness, and precise structure. This cuvée from Aux Reignots, a Premier Cru vineyard located just above La Romanée and La Romanée‑Conti, reveals aromas of red cherry, blackcurrant, and raspberry, layered with violet, spice, and subtle earthy notes.

Domaine Jean Grivot is one of Vosne‑Romanée’s most respected family domaines, with roots tracing back to the French Revolution. The estate farms about 15 hectares across Vosne‑Romanée, Vougeot, Chambolle‑Musigny, and Nuits‑Saint‑Georges, including holdings in three Grand Crus—Clos de Vougeot, Echézeaux, and Richebourg—and eight Premier Crus.
