The 2024 growing season in Stellenbosch was warm and relatively early, which often brings generous fruit expression balanced by brisk natural acidity in well-sited vineyards. Simonsig’s vineyards benefit from Stellenbosch’s moderated maritime influence, varied decomposed granite and sandstone-derived soils, and cooling breezes that help preserve freshness and precision in Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier.
