Vintage Character
From the Montagne de Reims village of Villers-aux-Nœuds, Emmanuel Brochet Champagne “Sélection” Extra Brut NV is a grower Champagne built on a blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, delivering a taut, chalk-tinged profile with very low dosage.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairing
As a non-vintage bottling, it is assembled from multiple base wines and reserve components to maintain a recognizable house style while keeping the emphasis on brightness and precision rather than sweetness. The nose leans to lemon zest, green apple, pear and white peach with brioche and toasted nut notes, while the palate is brisk and fine-bubbled, balancing savory doughy complexity with a long, saline, chalky finish. Being NV, the blend can vary from release to release, but the intent is consistently fresh, structured Champagne that suits the table: pair it with oysters or clams, roast chicken with herbs, tempura-style seafood, or Comté for a classic, nutty match.

Winery Background
Emmanuel Brochet is a small, hands-on vigneron based in Villers-aux-Nœuds, known for attentive vineyard work and a low-intervention, terroir-minded approach in the cellar. Rather than aiming for a heavily “made” style, the domaine focuses on clarity of fruit, texture from time on lees, and a distinctly mineral finish that has made the wines a frequent sommelier pick for customers looking beyond the grandes marques and toward artisanal, grower-driven Champagne.
