The nose opens with lemon peel, green apple, white peach and white flowers, followed by discreet notes of toast, hazelnut and sweet spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and dry, combining citrus brightness with a gently creamy texture from barrel élevage, while wet stone and oyster-shell nuances carry through the core. The finish is precise, savory and persistent rather than heavy. It works beautifully with roast chicken, seared scallops in brown butter, or sushi and sashimi.
