In this continental zone, abundant sunshine, large day-night temperature shifts and low rainfall help Chardonnay retain freshness while achieving full flavor, and the 2024 vintage is best understood as a bright, fruit-forward year shaped by these clean, dry growing conditions. Sandy, well-drained soils with alluvial and stony elements, together with the region’s altitude and clear light, give the wine its hallmark tension, purity and mineral edge.
