The 2023 vintage was shaped by a generally generous growing season, giving healthy fruit and attractive balance; in a strong white Burgundy year like this, the wine combines early charm with the tension expected of fine Chablis. Mont de Milieu is noted for its classic Kimmeridgian limestone and marl soils and its well-exposed hillside position, factors that help deliver both ripeness and the saline, chalky precision that defines the site.
