2023 Domaine Billaud-Simon Chablis "Tête d'Or" is a village Chablis from the Chablis appellation, crafted from Chardonnay and sourced from a privileged set of parcels on the right bank of the Serein. The 2023 vintage in Chablis is widely regarded as generous and successful, with a warm growing season balanced by enough freshness to deliver ripe fruit without losing the region’s hallmark cut. What makes this cuvée distinctive is its origin near some of the area’s most celebrated slopes, where Kimmeridgian limestone and clay soils help shape the wine’s signature tension, saline edge, and chalky precision.
