Gros “En Mortperay,” is a dry, medium‑full red made from Gamay in one of Beaujolais’ most structured crus, with the name drawn from the lieu‑dit “En Mortperay.” The 2023 vintage in Beaujolais was generally successful, with warm conditions that encouraged ripe fruit while timely rains helped preserve freshness, giving wines that balance generous aromatics with cru-level shape and grip.
