Domaine des Nugues Moulin-à-Vent 2022 comes from one of Beaujolais’ most structured and age-worthy crus, where Gamay takes on uncommon depth and firmness. The 2022 vintage was warm and dry, producing ripe fruit, generous concentration, and supple tannins while retaining enough freshness to keep the wine balanced; in Moulin-à-Vent, this is widely regarded as a strong vintage. The appellation’s hallmark manganese- and granite-influenced soils, together with its breezy exposures around the historic windmill zone, help give the wine both floral lift and a distinctly more serious, cellar-worthy profile than most Beaujolais.
