Domaine Édouard Confuron Gevrey-Chambertin ‘Les Seuvrées’ 2022 is a refined and terroir-driven Pinot Noir from the southern edge of Gevrey-Chambertin, just below the grands crus of Mazis and Charmes. The 2022 vintage in Burgundy was marked by a warm, dry summer with well-timed rains, producing wines of ripe fruit, supple tannins, and excellent balance between richness and freshness. From a tiny 0.17-hectare parcel of 50–60-year-old vines rooted in clay-limestone and marl soils, this cuvée offers a bouquet of red berries, black cherries, and violets, accented by earthy minerality and subtle spice.

On the palate, it is elegant and medium-bodied, with silky tannins, lively acidity, and a long, soil-driven finish that reflects both the vineyard’s pedigree and the vintage’s generosity.
