Château Lynch Bages Pauillac Grand Cru Classé 2019 is a Pauillac fifth growth shaped by contrasting water conditions. A mild winter and a wet opening to June preceded intense summer heat and drought, while earlier soil-water reserves helped the vines endure the dry spell. Rain around harvest assisted the later Cabernet ripening. Picking took place from 23 September to 9 October. Cabernet Sauvignon makes up 70% of the blend, with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot completing it. The wine combines generous ripe fruit with the structure and freshness needed to keep that richness in balance.

Dark berries and cassis sit alongside spice and carefully integrated oak. The palate is substantial but not merely weighty: a velvety surface covers a firm tannic core, and freshness carries the fruit through the finish.
