Domaine Nicole Lamarche La Grande Rue Grand Cru 2020 comes from Vosne-Romanée’s celebrated Grand Cru monopole La Grande Rue, a narrow ribbon of Pinot Noir vines set between some of Burgundy’s most hallowed sites. The 2020 vintage was a strong one in the Côte de Nuits: a warm, dry growing season produced small berries and naturally concentrated fruit, while retaining enough freshness to give the best wines both depth and precision. This distinctive vineyard lies on the mid-slope below the limestone escarpment, where classic Vosne-Romanée soils of limestone and clay help shape a wine known for combining sensual perfume with fine structural backbone.

The nose opens with black cherry, raspberry, rose petal and violet, layered with Asian spice, sandalwood and a subtle earthy nuance.
