Famille Perrin Côtes-du-Rhône Réserve Rouge 2023 is a Premium AOC red from the Côtes-du-Rhône appellation, crafted in the Southern Rhône from the classic Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre blend. The 2023 vintage in the Rhône Valley delivered ripe fruit with freshness, as a generally warm growing season was balanced by enough diurnal relief and timely conditions to preserve energy, making this a charming and well-balanced young vintage. Its character is rooted in the Southern Rhône’s mosaic of stony, clay-limestone and alluvial soils, where Mediterranean sunshine and the influence of the mistral help produce generous fruit, savory herbal detail and supple structure.

In the glass, it opens with red cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant aromas layered with violet, cracked pepper, licorice and a touch of garrigue. The palate is medium- to full-bodied, smooth and juicy, with ripe tannins, bright acidity and a rounded texture that keeps the wine both approachable and classically Rhône in feel. A gently spicy, fruit-driven finish makes it especially versatile at the table: try it with grilled lamb chops, roast chicken with herbs, or duck breast with cherry sauce.
