BiNaume La Plante d’à Côté 2020 is a Vin de France Pinot Noir made from fruit sourced in Auvergne by Jean-Yves Bizot and Claire Naudin, two Burgundy-based winemakers. The project applies their low-intervention approach to fruit grown outside Burgundy, so the wine’s origin should not be presented as a Burgundy appellation.

The wine is built around bright red-fruit character, freshness and a light-footed structure typical of an energetic Pinot Noir style. Its acidity and modest tannin make it well suited to serving slightly chilled, alongside charcuterie, roast chicken, mushroom dishes or soft cheeses.

BiNaume is the joint project of husband-and-wife winemakers Jean-Yves Bizot and Claire Naudin. Their work combines careful sourcing with restrained cellar handling, allowing the character of the fruit and site to remain central to the finished wine.
