2023 Château des Jaume Infusion is a dry red from the Côtes du Roussillon Villages appellation, rooted in the Agly Valley of French Catalonia. The 2023 vintage was shaped by severe drought and abundant Mediterranean sunshine, producing small yields and naturally concentrated fruit, while the Tramontane wind helped preserve freshness and healthy grapes. Its origin is especially distinctive for the contrast between warmth and uplift: rugged hillside terrain, schist and limestone influences, and wild garrigue surroundings give the wine both sunny generosity and a savory mineral edge.

As its name suggests, Infusion leans toward fragrance and finesse rather than sheer extraction, opening with ripe raspberry, wild strawberry and red cherry, followed by violet, lavender, white pepper and a touch of anise. The palate is medium- to full-bodied yet energetic, with supple tannins, juicy acidity and a polished texture that carries bright red fruit into a gently spicy, stony finish. It is an easy match for herb-crusted lamb chops, grilled duck breast, or mushroom risotto.
