The 2021 growing season was warm and dry, delivering concentrated fruit and ripe tannins, yet the site’s marine influence helped preserve lift and definition, making it a strong vintage for structured, aromatic reds. Drawn from old Cabernet Franc vines in this volcanic-soil setting, the wine captures a rarer side of Oregon, where elevation, persistent afternoon breezes, and well-drained soils favor freshness as much as depth.

In the glass, it opens with red cherry, wild raspberry, plum skin and violet, followed by graphite, cracked pepper, dried herbs and a subtle leafy snap true to the variety.
