The 2023 vintage was widely regarded as a strong and generous one in Burgundy: warm conditions brought full Chardonnay ripeness, while timely water reserves and fresh nights helped retain lift and definition. In Givry, this balance is especially appealing, and the wine’s limestone-rich soils with clay components give the fruit both supple depth and a distinctly stony, saline edge.

Expect aromas of lemon peel, white peach and orchard fruit, layered with acacia blossom, toasted almond and a subtle touch of fresh butter or brioche. On the palate it is dry, concentrated and energetic, with a fine core of citrus and stone fruit, a gently creamy texture from lees influence, and a finish that turns more mineral and chalky as it lingers. It pairs beautifully with roast chicken, grilled Dover sole, or crab risotto.
