In the glass, this Shiraz shows ripe blackberry, dark plum and black cherry, lifted by violet, cracked pepper and a faint graphite edge. The palate is medium-full and supple, with dark fruit depth framed by cocoa, cedar and gentle mocha notes, while the tannins are polished yet persistent, carrying the wine to a long, savory finish with peppery freshness. It pairs well with rosemary-grilled lamb cutlets, beef and mushroom pie, or char siu pork, dishes that echo its sweet spice, fruit richness and savory backbone.
