Marisa Bacher Langhe Nebbiolo 2024, also seen in trade references as Rosso Bacher Langhe Nebbiolo, is a small-production Piedmont red from one of the region's emerging grower-winemakers. Marisa Bacher is associated with the new wave of quality-focused Langhe producers and has been linked to training and collaboration with Mario Fontana at Cascina Fontana before developing her own project. For this Langhe Nebbiolo, market references point to fruit from serious Nebbiolo territory, including Neive in Barbaresco and Serralunga d'Alba in Barolo, giving the wine stronger site credibility than a generic Langhe bottling.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairing
The 2024 vintage should be read as a youthful, fragrant expression of Nebbiolo: bright red cherry, raspberry, rose, violet and anise, with hints of white pepper, licorice and dried herbs. The palate is dry, medium-bodied and energetic, with high acidity, medium-high tannins and a savory mineral line. It can be opened young with a short decant, but the structure should also allow near-term development over the next few years.

This is useful for drinkers who want Nebbiolo character without the weight or long ageing frame of Barolo or Barbaresco. It keeps the grape's classic perfume, tension and grip while staying more immediate and food-friendly. Pair it with tajarin with ragu, roast chicken, mushroom risotto, veal, salumi or firm cheeses.
