Luis Felipe Edwards ‘Autoritas’ Private Collection 2013 is a bold Chilean red that reflects the richness of the Colchagua Valley. Deep ruby in color, it opens with aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis, and plum, layered with vanilla, spice, and a touch of tobacco.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairing
The palate is full‑bodied and concentrated, with velvety tannins and a long, warming finish. The 2013 vintage in Chile was marked by a warm, dry season that produced ripe, structured wines with excellent balance, giving this cuvée both power and harmony. It pairs beautifully with grilled ribeye steak, roasted lamb, or Manchego cheese, where its depth and richness enhance savory flavors.

Winery Background
Founded in 1976 by Luis Felipe Edwards Sr., the family estate began with 60 hectares in the Colchagua Valley and has since grown into one of Chile’s largest and most respected producers, with vineyards across Colchagua, Maule, and Leyda. The Autoritas label was created to embody prestige and tradition, its name derived from the Latin auctoritas, meaning honor and authority. Grapes are carefully selected from prime vineyard sites, and winemaking combines modern technology with respect for tradition. The winery emphasizes sustainable practices, including biodiversity projects and reduced chemical use, and has earned recognition worldwide for producing wines that unite New World fruit intensity with Old World elegance. Today, Luis Felipe Edwards remains family‑owned, with two generations actively involved, and its wines are exported to over 100 countries.
